Fjord fascination

I made an addition to the resin herd recently.  Happened to see a Facebook post with some horses for sale, including this small cute Fjord, an Animal Artistry resin.  I'd seen one in a room post from Breyerfest, but of course wasn't there to buy it.

This one is the reason I made the smaller light box, which will fit on top of the printer, since I don't (at the moment) have table space free for the big light box.

Anticipation has ended

UPS deliviered this guy today:

I think I may be in love. He's lovely.

Anticipation

Almost 5 years ago, I bought my first unpainted resin, a UVM Yesteryear. And three months ago, I finally packed him off to be painted.

Just got the email that the artist is done and my last payment is there, so he'll be on his way home soon. If the blizzard doesn't slow him down, that is.

Can't wait to see him.

Finally

After 4 years, I've finally sent my UVM Yesteryear off to be painted. I hope it turns out well; it was a spur-of-the-moment decision based on an artist's post to HaynetExchange, offering limited painting slots this fall.
